  • Backpack

  • Sleeping bag, sleeping pad, over-bag

  • Tent, tent fly, poles, pegs, ground sheet, tarp with ropes

  • Stove, pots, fuel bottle and fuel

  • Wetsuit, PFD (lifejacket)

  • Ocean kayak, sprayskirt, paddle

  • Canoe, paddle

  • Rock climbing shoes, harness, helmet, ropes

  • Back-country (telemark) skis, boots, poles, climbing skins

  • Cross-country (Nordic) skis, boots, poles

  • Snow shovel

  • Snowshoes

  • Group water containers and water treatment equipment

  • Compass, maps and charts

  • Safety and rescue equipment

  • First aid kit, repair kit (group)

  • Communication equipment (satellite phones, VHF radios, inReach devices)

Students will receive a detailed list of required clothing and equipment upon acceptance into the program.
